I guess I've missed it in the emails, how long can we expect to be in CLT for Indoc?

The last vacancy bid was unable to fill all captain slots. Anyone being hired now will have a very quick upgrade compared to just about anywhere else. Anyone with the required 121 time will go to OE and then right back for upgrade.

Are you going to have a little paid time off? Yes. Four to eight weeks. That's it. The only airline that has a 6-8 month footprint right now is CommutAir. Your numbers are very inaccurate.
His comments did seem odd. At least one pilot hired in Oct was done with all training including IOE and flying the line by Christmas.

Hey guys, quick question about ground school. Even if they're planning on sending us home, do we still complete systems right after indoc and then we wait to go to QPT? Also is there a study guide out there to help study for systems?

January class had indoc for one week, then were sent home, and are still waiting to go back for QGT (systems) and QPT. Not sure if this will be the same for new classes. I'd recommend looking through AOM 2 on the Drive for systems knowledge.

You will probably get sent home after indoc for 4-6 weeks. Then you'll come back for systems-qpt and hopefully go right to sims. PM me your email. I'll send you all my notes for systems as well as some other stuff I have.

I have friend like that.

(don't look at my username please)
I'm in the same boat! March class, my "friend" is eager to get going, sitting around in wintertime is bad, scale and rust build up.

Getting a tad colorful talking about your 'friend' and what he wants to do

Let's just say we're very close, like twin brothers.
