Does anyone have any positive, 1st hand information as to the EFB timeline here?
Yes, I have read all the stories about piles of iPads in CLT, in a hangar at SBY, etc.
I'm looking for 1st hand information....

Why did it take that long for benefits to kick in? I'm just curious as I need to have the benefits for the family.

The EFBs are in a trail run now with the Feds in the sims mostly. Once that is complete they should all be sent out to the group (guessing end of March early April). Once they are distributed paper will still need to be carried in parallel for 6 months.

It takes 60 days for it to happen at PDT. That's relatively short from what I'm used to. I'm speaking of healthcare, vision, and dental.

Travel bennies are within the first week usually.

Does my cheap healthcare not cover vision, or is that included in one of the programs? Didn't see anything on my cards about vision and was wondering if its only part of a premium plan or something

VBA (Vision Benefits of America). Eye exam and glasses are covered. Discount on contacts. No card, just go to their website and sign in using your SSN and DOB.
