No, you have to be a flight instructor at one of the partnered schools. If you are just starting training, you are not eligible for the program.

So I'm kind of confused about this new bid that just came out.

They're cutting the dash lines in Philly and are going to be displacing people.
But literally two weeks ago they send that email about expanding the dash flying and wanting people to voluntarily move from the jet to fly it.
What gives?

I'm guessing since now AWAC will be gone in Feb. 2018 they are going to have to get the RJ fleet up as a priority. Just sit back and enjoy the ride!

No expansion of Dash flying; just trying to get the staffing right for the typically busier summer season.

So the problem I have with that explanation is now you have released a bunch of guys to go and bid the jet. If I'm reading the contract/LOA 25 right they're no longer locked in place, and there's 16 jet captain spots available to bid. Idk how that helps dash flying for the summer.

Just seems kinda weird and lousy planning. But idk.

That's the way Piedmont works, as soon as your at peace with that, makes it a lot easier to work here. Show up, do work, go home, don't care for a few days, repeat till you flow!

Yep, I show up, work some, scheme the system to stay home some, live a fun life away from here, don't combine them and counting down my time!!!
