Thanks for the info. I know in the past they would do so on their own metal. Another question regarding benefits? Does anyone know if AA WO's will count previous AMR employment towards eligibility for retiree travel benefits? ENDV requires 10 years of continuous employment and I am sure PDT does as well. I had 3 years with AMR previously and so it may be a considerable advantage to go with PDT in that case.

Yes your time at PDT Counts towards the total requirement.

I've heard a lot of chatter about a BOS base, anyone hear anything credible from a reliable source or is this simply crew room banter and speculation?

Yes, exactly. I had 3 years previously as an AMR employee (Flagship Eagle--before it was renamed Envoy). As an old timer, I have less than 10 years left in the 121 world.

I was leaning towards ENDV but I would go to any of the WO' AA carriers but if I get credit of the 3 years for travel benefit purposes towards the 10 years from AA then in the Donald's words-- "it would be huge."!

Well the 145 is in bos this month from mdt... who knows maybe the Syracuse and roc routes will come back.. i doubt it. I see two to three bases.. phl, clt/dca... and possibly a Midwest base..


The awac lose is going to mix things up rapidly

I'd love to see a CLT base, but the vibe I got from a recent conversation with one of the CPs didn't make it seem all too likely, unfortunately. But, who knows.

Unrelated: Single Premium beginning next month for Dash FOs. :-(
