Haven't started training yet, but I'll be a DFW commuter as well. I think I've seen one other person listed as DFW commuter on the list, so I think we are few and far between (I only checked the First Officer list, by the way)

Does anyone know what the current junior bases are for FO's?

How long reserve time is currently?

I've been reading a lot about QOL being great at PSA due to SAP. Would you say your QOL is equitable in terms of flexibility of schedule and being able to get days off when you need them?

Thanks for the help!
Hey man, I don't frequent the pdt forum much but i know that they have ONE base (well, actually Roanoke but that's going away per the company).

All operations are based in Philly. Are you interested in pdt?

I'm actually in between PDT, PSA, and SKW as of right now. I know picking a regional is a big decision and I want to make the best one for myself.

I live on the West Coast and non stop flights are available from Seattle. Has anyone ever made the commute from the west coast, and was it worth it?

Anyone on here in the April class? Just asking seeing how I'll likely have to go through QPT again since I've been out so long and trying to get an idea of when that'll be

Believe me you DON'T want to do a West Coast to East Coast commute for a Regional Airline!!!! Period!!! Definitely lean towards SkyWest! Especially if moving East isn't an option.
Can it be done? Sure! But that's if you don't want to hardly ever see your wife, kids or any other family members.

I know the guy who does SEA-PHL for pdt. He gets to spend 14-18hrs a week waiting for or riding on his commute. He loves UPS for commuting and gets to see his family 20-30 hours/week. All for a regional. F-that!

Talked to a recruiter FWIW and they said it should be up and running by the time the May 8th class starts...

Do we get KCM badges during indoc or do they send you home for weeks without it?

Second week of May is when it goes live with training. Last Friday PDT placed a bid on a second simulator from ExpressJet.
