Wow..can't believe to hear so many of you PDT guys willing to throw the profession under the bus. I understand academically why you are doing it, but for this thing to be trending yes is disappointing.
It would be interesting to see how the yes voters will feel if there was say some kind of event 6 months for now, i.e terrorist attack, another big financial conundrum then the economy tanks, AAG freezes hiring and they are stuck at a 5 or 6 year FO payscale for 10 years. I suppose realistically if it went down like that PDT would get shut down but still...think about all the guys you fellas have flown with that came to PDT 20 years ago who were just gonna stay for a few years, upgrade then off to the majors...
You are especially screwing future pilots that may try the PDT flow route then get stuck under that garbage agreement.
Flows are far from iron clad and LOC's for airframes are worth nothing without market growth..
Think this through guys..consider worse case scenario before you vote yes to ratify it. If you are not willing to work under this LOA for 10 years then don't pass it because that's damn well what may happen to you.

Even If this is passed, PDT will struggle to find people to work for them with 12/4 caps-look at endeavor as a prime example.

The jobs are going nowhere without a total economic downturn, they will only get picked up elsewhere. The industry isn't downsizing, its experiencing record profits and growth yet AAG wants PDT to take their third concessionary contract...absolutely ridiculous!
The LOA is an insult.

You guys need to vote for what's best for yall. When I was at colgan and we were voting all the regionals people were licking their chops for more Delta flying. Then they complained that we didn't fall on our own swords for them. Granted yall aren't in bankruptcy like we were but the point is ignore all the trolls. Do what u want.

Yes, the argument against us really is that juvenile...

Unions are broken. There is no unity amongst pilots.
The "As long as I get mine" attitude permeates the industry. I thought we had turned a corner with the last 3 votes, but it appears I was wrong.

Now that doesn't mean vote in the biggest POS ever, just ignore everyone else telling u what to do. At Pinnocalaba we were told by our own union that we would be wound down within a year. Sounds like yall have a few years left in the tank maybe, maybe not.

I think I remember Eagle signing a crappy 10 year deal many years ago in turn they were allowed tons of growth. I remember everyone running around saying, "I can't believe they signed a 10 year deal like that!" Anyone else remember that???? Unless your hands are clean it's hard to point fingers.
Those jets are now the bane of the industry, the 16 year deal destroyed the necessary unity of any collective bargaining process
AND GET THIS
The FLOW is a pilot retention tool masquerading as a means to keep longevity down. Stagnation occurs in every industry - when that happens and pilots grow to be too old to be marketable elsewhere because they sat waiting for the flow then this generation will get it.

The flow is indeed a tool for management to use to hold pilots at the regionals and also to be used as a tool to recruit new talent.
We went from 6 major airlines down to 3 in the last 10 years. It's no wonder that 20 years ago the average flight time at the majors was 2500TT and now it will be 10,000.
