Could have had some last minute cancellations or some no shows or people missed their flight. Apparently they don't positive space you to the first day of class. Happened to someone recently. Spent all day at he airport Sunday getting bumped from flight after flight after flight. Was then told by training dept, oh well we'll put you in the next class.

A3 is NOT standby. It is company travel, not personal. If you check in up to 24 hours prior, you may print your boarding pass and seat assignment. If you are foolish enough to NOT check in 24 prior and instead wait to arrive at the gate 30 minutes prior on what became an oversold flight, you are hosed by your own stupidity.

It's not positive space either. I've been bumped plenty of times as A3.
Only A1 is a positive space seat.

And how would a new hire know this? I don't even think they can check in since they don't have access to Jetnet.

As for the class yesterday, who got the CRJs?
