So about how long does it take to hear back that you have passed the review board after you sign the pre-offer and how stringent are they?

If I remember correctly from the interview, the review board meets on Fridays every other week. The last one was on the 17th, so the next should be on October 1st. I heard back from them on the same day.

Has anyone been scheduled yet for the October 10th class? I got the conditional offer and I took the medical yesterday, but haven't heard anything about a class date.

The review board meets every Friday. I just spoke with a friend of mine who interviewed a day after I did(Sept. 6th). We both received the pre offer letter but, I was able to get both of my employers to send back the paperwork early last week. My information went to the review board on the 16th and I was scheduled for my medical for this coming Monday. My friend just got his paperwork in this week and passed the board today and was scheduled for a medical exam on this coming Thursday. I emailed the recruiter about the possibility of getting in on the October 10th class. They responded by telling me that they will not be putting the class together until the Sept. 26th class has started and that I had approx. 25 applicants ahead of me waiting for a class date. Oh and it stated that classes are filled according to your interview date. I hope this helps, I know we are all in the same boat. Can't wait....

I just had a friend interview less than a week ago, he got hired, and they told him, classes from now till Oct 10th are all full, if your not already in those classes, you will not be, he said they have a wait list for it.

The flow through is one big smoke screen. We shouldnt be getting new hires' hopes up for something that is unrealistic.

its all a smoke screen. I really hope the union has a backup plan for all these agreements. AMR is giving it up like a fat girl on prom night, and once they GO CH11, all these great agreements will be nothing more than toilet paper.

I remember the first time I wanted to screw someone, I told them anything they wanted to hear, but it was all lies, and all I really did was screw them, and never bothered to even give them the right phone number.

Let the whipsaw begin!

It all depends on what AMR wants and needs. If they're hurting for people then the flow work as advertised. If AMR wants to shrink to profitability like Delta then we became the next Tucker Max story.
