Thanks! He is 36-starting out a a bit late. They told him he'll go before the review board next Friday, and then they will give him a class date for jetbridge (in Jacksonville) which he has to do because of his low hours. He's already done jetbridge course through his school, so he should be fairly prepared. Then they'll give him a training class date.

Also, they didn't give him any paperwork to give his previous employers. He said he signed something that allowed them to contact the flight school where he works, but that's the only one they said they were going to contact.

That would have been included in the pre-interview packet he received via email. The employment had to meet certain recency criteria in order for him to be required to provide their contact information.

Biker,

When are you headed to training? Flow says you should have been sitting in a hotel room august 1st. But what does the flow know.....?

still all quiet on the (dallas) front....

i was hoping to get out there for the 15th, but MFA has been losing staffing like crazy as seat locks expire. maybe they want to keep me around a little while longer, but we're down to 22 hard lines, so there should be excess rsvs..

Yikes! 22 lines? Where did you see that?

if I were an upcoming new hire and could pick EMJ LGA, I think right now that would be a really really good idea, it seems a good chunk are upgrading, I think you will start seeing like 25-30 EMJ LGA in up coming new hire classes (total over time, not in one class), and it is only a 65 pilot base, thats pending people dont go from JFK to LGA, which is possible if they drive in, esp from NJ.

can you explain the logic on this, because the jet is also coming up short, esp w upgrades, ATR makes up such a small amount of the fleet that you might see 3 ATR for every 25 Jet spots, because of so many upgrades, as opposed to seat locks on the ATR. I guess if your like 21 you might end up ATR. Also isnt the ATR going to start getting parked soon?

There's my kicker ;)

Just from the last few posts though, about MIA's seatlocks coming up, and leaving.

I'd love to be crj/emj because of the bases, however, atr appears to be in my future. I'm excited though.
