For all of you guys who think I'm just being a greedy, heartless, pinnacle guy; look at the facts. I'll venture a guess that many of you have never read an arbitrators awarded ISL. If you had, then you would understand that what I have said here isn't about me wanting to "screw" the mesaba and colgan pilots. I'm just basing my opinion on past precident. For those of you who have neglected to do any research before throwing stones I'll give you a start.
This is the link for the Eichen awarded ISL for RAH, Lynx, Midwest and Frontier.
http://f9fapa.org/uploads/SLIFinalAward.pdf
I'll even help you a little more, the good bits start at the bottom of page 32 and the award is on page 36.
Before another person tells me that reasonable career expectations and funding from a profitable airline have nothing to do with SLI, go read those pages.
I'm not saying how much effect those factors will have, I'm just saying they will play a part in the decision.

Colgan lost Pinnacle Corp more money than it cost to buy them. Without the money gained by Pinnacle Airlines (yes, the one with the pilots), Colgan would probably have ceased to exist long ago. The potential for aircraft and upgrades had nothing to do with Colgan itself other than than its cheap, easy to manipulate labor.
Pinnacle had solid finances, a large operation, and fairly stalled growth (both in fleet and hiring).
None of these airlines have anything to be proud of, some more than others.

Mesaba was parking aircraft with more on the way. The Saabs were done for and the CRJ-200s probably at risk.

That doesn't answer the question. You, Doing Time, and Ebl14 keep pointing out the negatives of both Mesaba, and Colgan, not the positives. And yes, there are positives that both companies are bringing to Pinnacle. I don't understand it, it seems that you are wanting a sudden windfall, and your posts are very one sided. So what do you want?

I noticed there are alot of experts here! So much so some of you should get a job with CNN as the "Aviation Expert" they like to bring in when something happens related to aviation. You know, the one who looks and sounds like he knows what he is talking about but has the people in the know laughing their ass off.
This forum is a vice for me. I like to keep my ear to the streets and know what's going on in the business but I hate some of the stupidity. Sometimes I myself can't resist and get sucked into a sarcastic comment or three. It's like being in the studio audience of the Jerry Springer show!
