That sounds like a response I get from payroll when I think they shorted me.

During the conference call, the Pinnacle Merger Committee Chairman emphasized the importance of moving forward and to integrate the strengths of our pilot groups so we can capture our synergies.

This afternoon we learned of the Colgan Merger Committee’s release of final positions to its pilot groups. This release countered the arbitrator’s final remarks during the hearing on March 31, 2011 "

Face it, Colgan released it just to play the victim card, and TONS of anti-Pinnacle threads started all over the internet, flightinfo, APC, ALPA forums, etc. The anti-Pinnacle sentiment does nothing to help unity. Also, Colgan only released the final stand views, not the negotiating viewpoints. And, they tried to make THEIR viewpoint sound the most "fair" , despite the fact that everyone knows it would screw over XJ and 9E guys when 2-3 year Colgan FOs start getting 4-6 year seniority equiavalent at 9E/XJ. IMO, that is the biggest windfall. At least the Pinnacle viewpoint, the category/class, Jet CA, Jet FO, Turboprop CA, Turboprop FO, has some industry merit based on previous arbitrator awards.

Colgan can cry all it wants, and yet again, I forecast that Colgan will be the first to release it, and most likely in a victim card.
I would have loved the Pinnacle method of jets over props.... but then again there are at least 60-70 Saab captains senior to me pre merger here right now at Mesaba. Oh wait, the one absolute about the merger, You CAN'T be placed ahead of ANYONE you were junior to on your own company's list pre merger. Kinda makes that whole jets better than props merge not really work. And yes that is very prevelant expecially on the FO side here at Mesaba....

Colgan ALPA

Arbitrator Bloch has informed us that his decision on the combined seniority list is complete but he wishes to give it a final review over the weekend. Please stay tuned for more information.

Looks like it will be postponed...This was just posted on the Colgan Facebook page

Wish I could do that with my monthly (heck daily reserve assignments) schedule.... It's ok I didn't expect to hear squat because I figured each MEC would review it before releasing it anyway.... I put it at June 3.... Just in time so the company doesn't have to shuffle all the MOU Mesaba pilots working at the other places....

When will the three MECs start acting as one and giving official word in a joint e-mail instead of via Facebook or APC?

Probably after the SLI when they actually become 1 MEC.

I hate to quote myself, but:

I forecast that Colgan will be the first to release it,
Guess my forecast was right. Man, I'm in the wrong industry, I shoulda been a weatherman.

The proposal doesn't put anyone out of original seniority order. It deals with numbers of positions, not people. So if 50 jets required 250 captains, then the first 250 people on the seniority list, regardless of whether the were on a jet or prop, or even a captain or an FO, would be 'assumed' to be in the jet captain category for purposes of integration.
