ASA to lose 8 CRJ700's

Meanwhile, other regionals need to lower their minimums to get pilots.
I wonder what that tells you about qualified applicants and year one pay?

That's my point, there's pilots out there but they aren't willing to start over at the bottom again, I wouldn't either. It worked while there were quick upgrades to be had but there's no reward or incentive for pilots to put up with that anymore.

What if you didn't have to start all over again . . .

The rest will ride the ship in rather than start over at another whipsaw lift provider.

I did year one regional pay once. I seriously doubt I would do it again. I made more flying a light twin 6 days a month than I did flying a CRJ all month. I would go back to doing that kind of thing before year one at a regional again.
