Are they able to slow deliveries based on staffing, or is 2/month happening whether or not you have the manpower to fly them?

With the training delays cut down, I would expect to see bigger upgrade classes and better recruiting efforts in the coming months. We have 33 airplanes on the opspec and 350 pilots not including tomorrow's class, so the staffing is about right but lately we've been nowhere near hiring the 20/month needed.

On another note, spoke with someone in from CLE that said first -300 parks next month, with all dashes offline by end of May 2018.

I start class tomorrow and was planning on bidding the Dash, but don't want to do two initials within a year. I will definitely ask about that rumor and see if I can confirm that.

No, they will not slow down deliveries. They will just continue to have other partners cover our flying until it's figured out. In ALB last week they had 4 jets parked around the airport just waiting to be checked and signed off. They took a back seat to some dashes that were down for some major maintenance. Only 4 mechanics working on a Thursday..

I was told last week that there are five ERJs ready to go whenever we can staff them.
On another note, the training bottleneck may finally be clearing up. The second Jan class is going through GFS right now. That's much faster than the fall classes were. I was told that our staffing levels for instructors is finally right. Now we just need more applicants...

Delays
Obviously the training delays put us a little behind. Once the delays are gone I think we will see upgrade classes of 15 or 18 like there were in October and December. We need them, and new hires, in order to catch up and get those planes flying. It will be interesting to watch.

There are still too many 50 seaters unaccounted for in the next two years in EWR, IAD, ORD, and IAH. It will take more than CommutAir to cover all the lift that's not being renewed by Skywest Inc. United wants CommutAir to grow, and there is still plenty of room to do that with Air Wisconsin up in Chicago.

PSA puts you up in the clarion filled with bedbugs... then they wash out up to 1/3 at sims because they don't have sim capacity....(too bad so sad...)
Air Wisconsin puts you in a Radisson, you can have Sunday seafood brunch with a chocolate fountain, and, they know what they are doing and treat their pilots with respect. No brainer
