PBS is NOT going to be here overnight.
Will take AT LEAST 14 months to implement. Could take up to 18 months (that's a year and a half).
The only impact to FO compensation in the short term is the per diem hit.

To those who valiantly voted NO, may we now expect your letters of resignation? Or are your gonads not quite as big as you would have us believe? Remember, in business, we don't get what we deserve. We get what we negotiate. Period. And considering the landscape, we came out decent. If you beg to differ and find that life at EGL is just too difficult, then on behalf of the 75%, move on. Please.
i truly hope you are in the 2000 seniority number (not) because that is the only way you wil stay employed as a junior first officer.

I don't understand how anyone could think eagle pilots have any ground to stand on with a no vote. We own no planes and to go to court they would only take away more than the TA that was passed. The reason AA pilots can get away with what they have been is because they're mainline. If we did half the stuff they've been doing we would watch our tail numbers being flown by XJT with a 60 day notice.
This is something none of us wanted, but the judge wouldn't give us anything better. If you think they would you're fooling yourself. It's bankruptcy, not a pilot pity party. It doesn't matter that we are profitable on our own, it's about AA. And to take whatever the judge throws at us and then fight it we would for sure accept a new name of comair and watch our ship sink too.
This is something none of us wanted, but the judge wouldn't give us anything better. If you think they would you're fooling yourself. It's bankruptcy, not a pilot pity party. you fail to realize that there is a process to follow, both company and union prior to the judge ruling on a 1113. the maintenance guys are negotiated and made better there ta as they see it, there next vote will tell. all this while the company filed for a 1113. the yea voters were simply afraid. your mec waived your contractual rights to go with the airplanes to aa when they were transfered, remember when you voted to change scope for that pref hiring maybe sometime job at aa.
when was the last time this pilot group did stand up to the company, thats right it was 1996. well you may get another chance to vote on something in 8 to 10 years maybe. you gave that away also, a lot of yes voters did not even realize that. what a bunch of scared weasels. just the facts mam.

You have no idea what you are talking about.... How can you say that we are lowering the bar when an 1113 is much worse than our TA! I hope you never have to be in bankruptcy... But, hold on it wouldn't matter because you wouldn't believe lawyers, the union or anyone who disagrees with you! Didn't you go to express jet because of a quick upgrade anyways ???? Spineless and pansies !!!! Dude get lost...

I think you guys should be more worried about keeping your jobs. Your union already screwed you guys over by giving away all your planes. With the TA passed AA doesn't have to worry about eagle and and is free to give away your flying. You guys didn't even negotiate a good contract that actually has real job protection. Plus voting yes hurts the AA pilots who actually have some back bone.
The only thing for certain is whatever it becomes, they will have nothing to say about it being strictly listeners from here on out.

I say PBS is a pay cut.
Hopefully you guys can wing it and survive to fight again. I've 6 old AE friends, all voted no, all sr CA's.
