It's true there has been hiring. However, due to synergies, multiple reductions in capacity, and furloughs/military leave pilots returning there has been little movement for many on the bottom. I have moved up over 850 numbers since the awarded ISL, but have moved up the seniority list roughly 2%.

It has been the same story from my Dad, or when he was alive my Grandpa. This industry goes in cycles, this one is going to be a big one because of how long this last lul lasted. It just will take a decade to pan out.

All I'm saying is there are many paths to your destination.

Rare. Not impossible, but very rare. I've been in this business as an airline pilot for over 21 years and have known only a handful of 135 guys who've gotten hired at a mainline. Definitely not an easy path to take. Most 135 guys I've known of who've moved on to a mainline have had connections.
