Well I guess that means Im hosed too if I reapply to Eagle. I almost hold the same credentials...just without any Turbine PIC time.

I also got the rejection letter...

4139 total, 3000 multi, 2000 multi pic turbine, two type ratings.

Anyone else with high time having trouble getting into the regionals? In the gray area of having too much time, but need the 121 time to go to the majors. Sigh...

Maybe they are busy doing damage control for drunk pilots trying to fly airplanes.

There was a furloughed ryan international guy in a recent class with seasons hours. I also think a corporate guy who was seasoned.

My new hire class had a multi decade corporate jet captain.

I am not sure, I was in FOQ and talked to both the guys I said above, they were in the class of 5 in Nov.

I know Eagle does NOT want anyone with 3 or more busts, a criminal record at all, past DUIs, multiple speeding tickets. You have to have a HS diploma. They dont bend on those things it sure seems. I guess its AMR lawyers, they want to shield the liability and just dont bend on it.

When I was hired early 2011, there sure seemed to be 1 or 2 comair refugees in all the classes around mine.

Actually Eagle isn't so rigid. I gathered that they are more concerned with people lieing about their past than what you said. I had several former 121 guys in my class and some with some prior problems and failures. Seems they are more interested in good pilots who are cool to work with. I'm sure any company would bounce someone if they lied on their application.

A passed or a failed checkride?

Also, I've toyed with the idea of getting my seaplane and/or glider ratings, but I'm scared that if I were to fail one of those checkrides it would look bad and potentially keep me from getting hired (I already have one failed ride - my CFI initial). Does anyone know if this is the case (not just specifically at Eagle)?

Just curious, how long are people waiting around after they publish their app before they call you?

So are they still officially doing the $5000 sign on bonus?
