Also, I've moved up more than 200 spots on the seniority list in the past 4 months. Some is attrition, but most are new hires. So, I know math is hard for some, but this is pretty simple to figure out.
The reason is that classes like mine were already half gone in just under a year's time despite the contract.

You spoke to all of them? you must be in the training dept or you really get around!

And your not going to move "up" the list unless people above you leave. new hires add more numbers to the list below you unless I'm missing something. We have had about 50-60 new hires, but I only moved up 25 spots on our list in the last month or so...

What did you tell them? "Welcome to the latest and biggest mistake you've made so far in your $h!ty careers."

How do you "move up" on a seniority list when most come in behind you? That really is some hard math!!

I spent five years in the hellish nightmare known as RAH. I knew it was bad when I started, but it was far worse than what I expected. In my opinion RAH should only be an option if you can't get anything else and even that is a stretch.

So how does one move up in seniority with the addition of new hires?

Just trying to time my displacement. It amazes me that you seemed upset that some people find humor and joy when rah management gets a kick in the nuts however little it is.

Rah deserves what it gets no doubt. But Eagle guys have been a little arrogant over the years and now they have been brought back to realizing that they are only regional pilots. At least you have a number at AA.
