How much truth is there to the noise about the Ejet program having issues with big brother the FAA?

Has to deal with a paper trail tracking currency of the contract FSI sim instructors (not the systems instructors). They are working with the local FAA to rectify. Not really a big deal...in fact, I think it's all supposed to have been resolved by today.

Hasn't really affected training, maybe delayed a few sim sessions but that's basically it in a nut shell.

It was something discovered by RAH and they self disclosed to the FAA.

Wanna laugh--The flight safety instructors were all giving eachother checkrides when they were supposed to be checked by company cka. The Faa shut em down and all trainees were sent home. Im sure itll be resolved but its a delay that rah cant afford. Theyre attracting noone due to the lousy contract, cant man the Q program and are delusional about being able to handle the AA flying. I really hope that management is squirmin but they so disconnected, I doubt it.

Funny, they are still running classes totalling about 35+/- a month. Doesn't seem like they are having too much trouble filling and running classes.

Not according to the cka. Never been a class of 35. In fact they just hired a guy who geared up a plane who just took his 709 ride. Im hearing small class size and no-shows. You spinnin something here? Btw they had to send that class home so the flight safety thing delayed stuff for 2 weeks.

Judging by the seniority list, we've been added no more than 35 people per month total, across all certificates. So, I'd have to doubt there are "classes of 35" showing up, unless the class was the culmination of the entire months hiring all on one cert. 30-35 per month is not a good start on the 600+ supposedly needed this year.

Note. I said "classes". I just spoke to a republic class of 22 and a shuttle class of 14, all in the same month. According to my calculations, that's more than 35...

Also, I've moved up more than 200 spots on the seniority list in the past 4 months. Some is attrition, but most are new hires. So, I know math is hard for some, but this is pretty simple to figure out.
