That makes no sense? They didn't screw you out of a PIC type. They saved more FO's from busting their ride who already have an ATP since the type would be a more difficult ride vs a regular PC.

Because they're so incompetent in their FOs that they feel they can't pass a type ride?

Actually, they just kicked the can down the road in order to realize what management perceived to be immediate savings and will have to deal with a bigger, more expensive mess later.

Rjet's management is great at doing that.

Is it true that RAH is giving SICs to their FOs as opposed to PICs?? I only ask because the FAA has yet to clarify which one it will require come August. Eagle has taken the conservative approach and has been issuing PICs to all FOs going through the program.

If it turns out that PICs are required I can imagine the fallout at Republic will be huge. Pretty much grounded at that point.

Without a need of a strike.

Like if would be so much different of a regular PC!!! The only thing is that there's no retraining. Didn't you said before that to be a E-170 pilot you really have to step up your game?!?!?!?!?

Theyre giving pic types to commercially rated fo s-not the ATPs. Another bonehead move that doesnt even save them that much money. I love the people I work with and the equip at rah, but upper management are idiots.
