Hi PSA Pilots, I recently accepted an offer at Republic (for the potential $40/hr) and am considering TSA and PSA for the very quick upgrade. Would someone hired soon be able to have a quick upgrade? What is the split between CRJ 200 vs CRJ 700 Vs. 900 flying? Any chances of Embararrer 175's coming on to property soon? Thanks, maybe I'll be seeing you all soon.

The quickest upgrade possible for you is around 18-24 months no matter where you go to work.

As far as the SSP, who knows. It will certainly be a flow but I wouldn't hold my breath on any meaningful increases in numbers. The company claims they don't need to give the pilots anything due to the fact that classes are full but then on the other hand they claim they can't increase our SSP numbers due to staffing

If the bodies are on property they are on property. There are at least 100 FOs right now that flat out refuse to upgrade due to ridiculously terrible reserve rules and poor treatment from crew scheduling.
Also, we have enough captains for the amount of acft we have on property. The "leanness" so to speak is purely due to crazy inefficient schedules and nit picky micro managing of reserves.
So no, their excuse is not plausible.
