Its probably cheaper to keep them. They know that if they furlough zero will take the recall when attrition catches up. So its probably just cheaper to keep them rather than pay out unemployment and retrain new hires in 6 months

AWAC is 200 people overstaffed but with attrition of 10-12/month it would take 2.5 years to upgrade? Sounds more like a little less than 2 years to get off FO reserve. Any idea how long reserve would be for a new hire?

Nobody is interested in taking cuts here. When airlines are making record profits, it is hardly the time to ask for concessions. With our payscales as low as they are, they should never really be asking for concessions anyway.
