Anything New At AWAC?
#501
Thank you sweetholyjesus and prex8390. I will look at those approaches. Good info on the Jepp low chart. I've never seen any Jepp enroute charts. I'm sorry I didn't see your posts earlier. My browser seems to load things a little goofy from time to time.
Cheers!

Only people that will hang on are senior FO's and Senior Captains. Wait till the first ERJ's hit Piedmont in Jan. The upgrade here will drop to less then a year and with a quick upgrade and a Job waiting at American why not go and get a jump on your career instead of waiting 4 years for an upgrade??

It's going to get worse! You guys are in the same situation as Piedmont was 2 years ago. Aging Planes, Long Upgrade Time, No future = People jumping ship for other airlines. We had tons of people 5 years ago leave for RAH, AWAC and ASA.

Plus I have more then a few friends that work there and I see the writing on the wall in Terms of AAG. Piedmont will be taking over all the AWAC flying.

Because it's a Airline Pilot Forum! If you don't want any other airlines posting on a Thread then start your own AWAC Website.

The all-knowing regional FO strikes again.

Nothing is guaranteed in this life or career. Boasting about something you truly have no control over or insight into is unprofessional at best. AWAC's been around for 50 years, of which I spent 9 there. They always land on their feet. That's more of a guarantee than your precious flow-through so I suggest you keep your supreme confidence in check. Besides, what makes AA so great that someone should aspire to hang their hat on the hopes of a flow-through? Keeping your options to one major is a huge mistake.
