He most likely posted an easily verifiable fact and yet you call him trite? I wouldn't put too much weight on your perceived future. You are aspiring to work for the worst airline CEO in Doug Parker. He has practically no moral compass and is on record as to his real thoughts about his employees.
You can and should do better.

It is what it is. Be proud and happy you work at AWAC now and I hope you guys can continue to grow and hold the line!! Full pay till the last day. Just glad that Piedmont now is starting to get the shrinking ship back afloat.

It's going to get worse! You guys are in the same situation as Piedmont was 2 years ago. Aging Planes, Long Upgrade Time, No future = People jumping ship for other airlines. We had tons of people 5 years ago leave for RAH, AWAC and ASA.
Only people that will hang on are senior FO's and Senior Captains. Wait till the first ERJ's hit Piedmont in Jan. The upgrade here will drop to less then a year and with a quick upgrade and a Job waiting at American why not go and get a jump on your career instead of waiting 4 years for an upgrade??

Only time will tell if they stay. I already know a few that have left.

First, you guys have an EXCELLENT airline. All of us here wish nothing but the best for you guys. That being said, I know for absolute fact current AWAC pilots have left for PDT with more on the way.

People leave for different reasons. I know a 3 yr Awac f/o leaving for the shiny chance at the direct entry captain at psa because he lives in Tys. Do I think it's a doughy move? Yes, but He's a good guy and a friend I can't blame a guy for wanted to be home more often. I know a handful of guys that left pdt and psa a few years ago to come to Awac because of the bases and pay. Things change, right now the grass sure looks greener at other places, but we all know how fast that can change. I'm sure if Awac would have stuck with that delta flying, people would have be raving about how fast the upgrade is and how wonderful things are. It's all one big game, some people get lucky some people get the big ol shaft
