Wheels falling off at RAH

How is Republic going to staff/pay for new airplanes arriving when they can't even staff the ones they currently have?
If I recall, those planes can't be leased to another carrier can they?
I hope the mgmt at Republic is sharting in their pants that their bs business practices are finally being stood up to by the pilots.
You think that a lockout would be an option they would try?

As far as subleasing airplanes, they'll do it if they want. I'm sure there's a nice loophole in our contract that's primed and ready for exploitation. The IBT will then pout and lose in court 5 years down the road.

RAH is in very big trouble. There is a net loss of pilots nearly every month now. Once a fleet reduction, cancelled upgrades, and more are announced, the attrition will go through the roof. A death spiral will have begun that cannot be fixed. A lot of middle of the road FOs and senior are hanging around for what appeared to be an upgrade in the near future. Take that away and they will all leave. The captains that are holding out for a legacy or national carrier will have to reevaluate their stance at that point. The end of RAH is coming sooner than most think.

RAH seems to be going in a very dark place, possibly run out of cash. If this doesn't make them reach a better contract any faster, I don't think the airline will survive. I don't understand what management is doing or trying to do about all of this. Shareholders are jumping ship.

Yeah, that'll fix the labor problem. Can't run an airline without pilots. It is about time they get realistic about an above market rate contract. Like for real, not the lowball deal they tried last time.

Trudat but I believe in rjets case, that ship has sailed and it would be too costly for that at this point. Hope I'm wrong. I don't wish any crew members any harm.
