Finalizing a new contract is the least of your worries. If you can't get new hires in the door wanting to work there, that's a huge problem. Unless you guys are going to sign a truly industry leading contract.

Does Republic have an ATP course? I didn't think they did, so they are just trying to poach. That's probably why they have having such difficulty getting people.

We have a lot less lifers than you think. It may swing the vote a percent or two but probably not. A true lifer needs a stellar contract also. Simply because the company will not be able to survive without one.

I have an interview soon. If I tell them that I will vote YES on the next TA, will that help me get hired?

The problem is getting a TA. If the NC approves the TA, you will want to vote yes. They aren't going to pass on another turd. But RAH is up to its old stalling game...

Edit: spellin is hard.

If you have a pulse, that will really help you get hired.

Without a new and better contract, that 'sweet 175' will no longer be as appealing to potential new hires.
