Those aircraft orders are just yard ornaments if you can't staff them. Shiny 175s around the yard!!!

It was one of the best contracts in the business when it was voted in.
But once again, you had your chance, and you wasted it. Bye.

And they will continue to sit until we get a contract that we deserve. I can't think of any pilots at RAH who have an issue with that.

Of course not. You'd have to keep canceling, and you have no cancellation pay. Which makes it hysterical you say it was such a great contract when it was voted in. A northern based company with zero cancellation pay... There where your company is making money. That alone should have been a reason to turn the contract down back then. I have friends at RAH that suffer through the winter due to missing out on 1/4 of their paycheck.

Well that's how it's getting done. It's called exercising leverage. Its not painless, but it's what we have to do.
And it was considered a great contract when you upgraded in two years and were making enough that the cancelations didn't sting as much. Obviously it is no longer even close to adequate, which is why we are digging in and fighting hard for a new one.

So if that's what made it a great contract, explain how the wholly owns have a bad contract now? Since they have less than 2 year upgrades AND cancellation pay.

Only one has a sub 2 year upgrade from what I read. And it got that way by taking aircraft from another wholly owned. And again, the contract was signed over 8 years ago! If you're comparing what you have now to what we signed then and can't see the difference, there is no helping you. And while that contract didn't have cancelation pay, it also didn't have junior manning or airport reserve, which I believe most wholly owned do have.

Ha you do... Here's another guy that doesn't see the whole picture. Not that hard to see, but aren't the new 175's just a replacement for the 145's? Yes you'll have newer planes and larger planes one property, but less overall because of parking the 145's.

The current CBA is horrible, and threw the future FOs under the bus. If your thinking of going to RAH expect you will never see a new contract, otherwise you will be disappointed
