Is fuel planning something Republic pilots are weak on? And I know the airport in east Texas they landed on. It's a GA airport I used to fly Cessnas to for touch and gos...the one fuel guy on the field didn't know how to fuel the E175. That is how low on fuel they were? They had to put it down immediately? TXK is a 15 minute flight from that airport and is capable of handling commercial traffic.
DFW-bound flight diverted to non-commercial airport

The margins the regionals operate on are too thin to offer you compensation better than the current market right? I'm sure that's why RAH was the #4 most profitable airline in the world huh...ABOVE THE U.S. MAJORS. They are entirely capable. Its sad you don't think you're worth the added cost.

I don't expect to get paid what major airline pilots get paid (even they are barely willing to fight for what they are worth, i.e. Reference inflation adjusted numbers for any time period)... But I do realize that at the end of the day, the only thing that matters when performing any "service" is the number of digits on the check, and the number of days off. By those factors, we are insufficiently compensated, and no presumptuous understanding of corporate economics can dispute that! The redesign, downsizing, or outright eradication of the traditional regional model is already underway... Please do not capitulate.

Republic pilots have already demonstrated that they won't be intimidated into a subpar deal. The game is up over here, it's industry leading contract... Or the lights go off.

I agree... We (S5/YX) will not be manipulated or otherwise coerced into selling ourselves short. We may have to demonstrate it again... So Be It!

Otherwise Northern Louisiana looked ok or perhaps some of the fields between Dallas and Houston?
