Uhh Bud, you do realize AWAC, Mesa, and SKW are working deals to establish a baseline to bid the flying your company announced it would be dropping. Ironically if RAH had a good deal in place on time; these 3 company's would probably still be in "negotiations", and therefore you would not be requesting their expertise.

AFAIK, AWAC has never had a PFT deal. I got paid from day 1 here.

Anyone who has ever voted for a contract that included concessionary language on scope voted for this situation. If you're not here or at another C-scale contract carrier (so called 'regional') you're probably part of the problem, not part of the solution. Pretty much every contract signed in the past 20 years has included language that strengthened the position of the major airlines regarding 'regional' flying. This includes total block hours, seats, fleet percentages, city pairings, etc. So many pilot groups are incredibly short sighted as their ranks shrink and their flying farmed out. I was glad to see DL recognize this when they voted down their TA.

If you have something positive to contribute, please, offer it up. But your language sounds like yet another regional pilot bashing post which is divisive and unhelpful.

I'd be happy if all the so-called 'regionals/commuters' shut down tomorrow and all this flying was brought back in-house.

Now, what if AWAC's TA does not have 12/4? I highly doubt it will. Will the above carriers have still "sold out" the industry?

Too bad a thread that could have been 100% positive for the AWAC guys turned down the normal APC path and is now filled with the ever present finger pointing and insults.

Hope you guys killed it, good luck.

Remind me again which pilot group was the sole one that wouldn't sign on to not taking anymore concessions(after all the other regionals had signed the agreement)?

I guess alpa members have been going around saying something like, things in open time will go to 200% pay, higher per diem, but raise in health care costs. Etc, didn't say anything about pay raise. Also heard this second hand so take it with a grain of salt.

The email from Alpa said raises in each of the 2 years of the agreement, but that could mean anything from the small per diem increase I've heard about, to COLA raises. I'd honestly be surprised to see our hourly rates go up, even though they are way overdue for that. If the rates stay the same, we need massive improvements to scheduling and the ways we are paid that will amount to a raise regardless of the rates.

Not relevant to what I asked, at all. You also make it sound like a whole pilot group signs that said document, when in fact most pilots, myself included, had never even heard of it until after it was done(or not done).

Why don't you answer what I asked.

Where is any of that wrong??

It's all the same in our industry Raise and Repeat. This is the one part of the industry I WON'T miss!
Your revisionist history is simplistic and wrong. Nice try though.
