No he's correct, back in 2017/2018 our FO class sizes were 40-60 new hires for a little while. This year it was approximately 20 per class to start, now they've upped it to 30.

...and I'm a bit older and sometimes confused but I also save seniority lists..
I took a quick look at the 09/2018 seniority list as you had me doubting myself on this.
the 7/24/18 class had 38
the 8/7/18 class had 48
the 8/21/218 class had 58
Felling somewhat vindicated, I stopped looking after that

Well I didn't say they did it for a long time! My recollection was that it did back up the sims and they were sending people home for quite sometime and paying them to wait for sims.

Larger than most, probably, but not the largest. The SkyWest training department is running 4 classes per month (2x CRJ and 2xERJ) at a rate of 60-70 FO's PER class in SLC and Den. Even at that rate, they are filling classes out into Apr/May on both jets right now (if you believe the posts on airlineinterviews.com). So RPA might be a close or distant second...
Don't believe me, SkyWest posted a group photo of the latest CRJ class on their LinkedIn page. I counted 68 heads, but believe 3-4 of those are instructors as I've seen them in multiple photos. The last ERJ class photo I saw had 71 (some were probably the instructors again).
I still don't know why Republic waited so long to call me. I finally got a call from them 5 MONTHS after submitting my application back in April and gave them a polite TBNT because I had moved on already. I did ask why they waited so long to call (I was a fully qualified, unrestricted applicant with ATP/CTP completed and the written passed already). Silence on the other side of the phone, but it certainly wasn't her fault, she was just following up with me to see if I was still interested. Only thing I can figure is I wasn't a "cadet" and it wasn't a high priority at the time. Not a big deal in the end.

You are correct. Skywest just had 78 in Indoc for the ERJ. Split into 2 groups when shipped out to go to systems.

Looks like the junior line holder is a 06/22/21 hire. There also appear to be about 20 in training that got awarded DCA, I guess this might slow it down a little.
This answer is a "right now" picture. Keep in mind this kind of thing changes constantly. Although, the way things are progressing lately, I don't think it'll change much.....
