Keep us updated when you are released from IOE and we can add it all up!

Can you give us an update about how, according to you, Republic is the lowest paid regional airline?

TIA.

RPA is not the lowest, they are in the bottom 4 of all Regionals for First Officer Pay (or the bottom 2 of big jet "E175" carriers). Pay is 46, Air Wisconsin is 38, Sky West is 45, & CommutAir is 39.................ALL OTHER REGIONAL AIRLINES PAY MORE AND MORE BY 4-5 DOLLARS A FLIGHT HOUR MORE.......................................PERIOD THE END.............RPA doesn't start you at year 2 or year 3 pay, so STOP JUMPING to those payscales.....year 2 pay is on par with others, year 3 FO pay is in the middle as well, but you are still short your 4500.00 from year 1, so yes RPA's pay sucks compared to competitors......you can't ever count on bonuses (which we saw when covid hit, they got revoked)............how much money you get in your pay check is Hourly Pay times Monthly Guarantee............. 46 x 75 = 3450 x 12 = 41,400/year.............that is PATHETIC 5.00 per hour shortage times 75 guar = 375/mth shortage or 4,500/year BELOW AVERAGE of it's competitors.................................you never get that 4500.00 back.

I agree. Our min guarantee base pay is bad. However, I doubt most pilots are crediting 75 a month.

Actually, you're welcome to believe what you want, as long as you don't come and work here. Your writing is beyond cringe to read.

Budget 75 and hope for higher. But your contract should be where you can live off your monthly guarantee and never have to pick up flying. During Covid, those that didn’t get laid off, rarely hit above 75. Tell me how one based in EWR/LGA/ORD can live off 41k/yr? No commuter hotels, no positive space to work for commuters. Better hope for a cheap base to live in.

Few dollar difference between FO pay is irreverent when you can upgrade right at reaching the mins. You should be comparing year 3 CA pay. Any difference in FO is pay is quickly evaporated. Plus you haven't included soft pay which Republic leads wtih.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha you win internet post of the day....................there is a reason that 100% of the people on this website don't post their login names as their real names..............management doesn't like it when you publicize their failures. But not long enough to be on Cpt Year 3 PayScale yet.........(which at the rate the Majors are hiring, I am not sure I'll make it here that far).

Weird, been living in Astoria the past 6 years with no issue. Barely hit 40k a year, too.

Well it's a good thing PIT is junior!

Our website doesn't mention anything about "soft pay" for new hires to read/understand, so unless it's GUARANTEED, you can not budget for it...........that's like saying you should include per diem in your salary then too huh?
