Hey did they say during the interview what classes are going to be starting in February? What date does the Shuttle class start?

RJET sucks, no doubt about it, but living in base at LGA is probably one of the better situations in the company.

That's honestly one of the only reasons why I came over, and made that known during the interview. They definitely appreciated me being honest with them. I think the QOL of living in base helps all the other BS roll right off your back. Looking forward to driving to work, not to mention living in a Delta hub where you can take the most advantage of their travel bennies.

On that note-- how are the DL benefits?

DL bennies are some of the best in the system. A one time yearly fee of I believe $50 covers all your beneficiaries. Unlimited travel in coach and possibly even free upgrades to first if available. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

A definite yes voter. Heller will personally welcome you to the company.

Not quite, considering I'm giving up cancelation pay, duty rig, min day, block or better, and almost $10/hr. I'm just saying, being able to pull into the gate, walk to your car, and drive home at the end of a trip makes the day-to-day problems a little more bare able. Isn't that why we all try to live in base?...And if we happen to get close enough on the visual so We can auto-start our cars and warm them up, well that's just a bonus.
