This is for the Republic certificate. The most junior FO at ORD is an 8/13 hire. I know of at least 4 people in my new hire class, including myself, who want ORD. It is extremely unlikely you'll get ORD out of training. Most people get PIT, with a few others scattered around elsewhere.

Kind of. Basically any month there's a new hire class, Crew Planning will announce a list of available vacancies in each base (as of late, mostly PIT). Anyone on the certificate can bid on them. New hires get what's left over (mostly PIT).

Thanks again for the info, morerightrudder! It's very much appreciated.

I keep hearing that the upgrade time for the Q400 is about 3 years. Any truth to that or is it more BS from my FO buddies??

Most junior CA on the Q400 has been here for 6+ years and would technically be a "7 Year CA" on our payscale.

Right...., that sounds more realistic. I'm not even going to say anything to the person who believes they're in for a quick UPG. That would be so cruel, almost similar to telling a five year old that Santa doesn't really exist and that you're considering taking them back to the orphanage. I just can't do it.

Hey Guys,

I know if I sifted through the pages that I could find this answer but I would really appreciate if someone could tell me where the bases are for the E-170, 175 and 190 are now?

Thanks so much.

Bases have been posted in the last month. There have been no changes since that post for the E-jet bases.
