Quit being lazy.
It took you significantly longer to post this than it would've to simply answer his question.

If everyone read every single post about every single regional airline not only would it take days, he would never find a good place to work because everyone complains about every single one of them. Which is of course, a fair analysis, don't get me wrong.

Quit being judgmental.

Some nice person calmly, without judgement while hiding behind a moniker, simply guided me to my query.

Wouldn't it too have been much easier for you also?

Actually, never mind. Obviously not fulfilling some need of yours.
If you look under the thread page numbers above the comments, there is a search this thread tool - use it

That's the whole point of, what we call, "making your own decisions." Part of growing up and being an adult is taking lots of information and thinking critically to come up with the best solution to fit your own parameters. When someone comes on and asks a question like, "what bases do you have," or "what regional should I choose," it's frustrating. It shows that you've done very little to help yourself so why should I want to take time out of my day to help you?

Also, it would take "days?" BOO HOO! This is only the beginning of the rest of your life we are talking about. It should take weeks or months to get enough information about perspective employers to make an informed decision. Complaining about it taking days is the reason why we are all in this mess to begin with. If people felt a little less entitled to things, perhaps there wouldn't have been a race to the bottom. And yes, there are a lot of people who complain but there are also a lot of people who would vote 'yes' for concessions or say great things about every single regional. Quit pandering.

If you are an employee for Republic, you are a horrible ambassador for your own future.

Learn some manners instead of being a coward behind a mask, Skygod.
Did I hurt your feelings?

I don't hide behind a mask when I say the exact same things on trips nor is it my job to blow smoke. Being lazy and unaccountable isn't going to get you through training and it's not going to get you through life. Welcome to the real world.

You are such an ass. And if that is how you act on trips, you are an ass in life.

ATOP,

Don't let cowards like this discourage you. Obviously a highly misguided, disgruntled person. This profession has many "interesting" people like this jerk but trust me, they are by far the minority. Feel free to PM me with ANY questions you may have and I will try and get you the info you need. I am still well connected in all areas in GA.

I hope that is how he acts - direct and to the point.

So, a bunch of people try and teach someone a good life lesson (DON'T BE LAZY - work hard, think for yourself, and do your homework so you can make good life choices) and you come on here and rescue him by doing everything for him?

Awesome.

Calling some one lazy does not encourage learning.

Being condescending and teaching are differences maybe only grownups know the difference.

Reading comprehension is also a grown up thing I guess.

Where did I call you lazy? I said "DONT BE LAZY" and if you feel you are infact lazy, well...I guess you answered your question. Also sometimes calling someone out for being lazy does encourage learning. It jolts them awake and makes them realize to do it on their own.

Grownups also know when to put their grownup pants on and do work for themselves instead of asking everyone else to do it for them or make a decision for them.

Just sayin'.

I put a great deal of time looking for an answer to a question that was asked by others recently without all the drama about the question. They too must have missed the answer but for some reason a few malcontents seemed a need to make it an act of war.

I will leave this alone and hope even more that the interview with Skywest goes well. They were my first choice and Republic my last anyways. Too many have told me to stay away from Republic but had my own reasons to consider them. I know this isn't fair so I won't judge all at Republic by a few on this board. But if I did, oh my! I would stay in my first career despite all the effort I have put in trying to live my desire to be a pilot with a reputable major or legacy.

Peace out.
