Oh you're right, I forgot about that. So FO's can cross certificates occasionally. That is great news!

Wait any place at RAH FO is bad, unless you want to explain to people, 6 years from now, why you're working under 2003 pay rates.
Just because there is no growth doesn't mean things are bad. Growth is an added bonus, a privilege that makes a good job even better, not something to be expected. If you don't get any growth well then that is the normal status quo and any unexpected growth is just added icing on the cake. Growth on the Q would be at the cost of a fellow pilot getting furloughed at another airline anyways. Contraction and getting furloughed is bad not staying stagnant. But staying stagnant is not possible since there will always be attrition movement as FO's leave before upgrade to move up to majors, expat, cargo, etc.
Maybe if you had just accepted the contract that was offered about 5 years ago the pay wouldn't be at 2003 but 2008 pay and just now the process of negotiating a new contract would begin.

Default Republic training and the Q.

I'm sure its on here somewhere but I cant find anything recent.

Whats training like? Well I know what trainings like. More along the lines of warnings like "dont eat at the BBQ joint on the corner!" ?

Double occupancy during training- is it a straight up hotel room or more of a suite with stove, fridge, etc?

Anybody in EWR or PIT that can chime in about lines? Reserve?

Thanks!

Don't hire the hookers around the front door on wknds!!

Double occupancy at a holiday inn in STL. Rooms have two double beds, one desk, some an additional table, some not. They also have a small frig (like 4-5 ft3). Microwave and coffee maker in study room in basement. Good discount on food and booze in hotel. Rooms at front of hotel have trouble getting hot water early in morning.

Subway across the street. One good and one bad Mexican place within walking distance. Coffee, donuts and oatmeal at flight safety on weekdays in morning.

That's all I can think of... And if hotel has changed then I haven't a clue.

Near the subway is cool. At least to can get around a little instead of being stuck in one place for a month.

Anyone with info on the lines or reserve situation in the north east? Was told prob wont sit reserve long if at all. Just trying to find out if this true or smoke and mirrors...

I believe PIT only has 30 FOs when there should be 80 to staff the base properly. I can try to look at bid packet tomorrow. Unless someone chimes in. Welcome to the suck.

You can go to the airport and take the train downtown. Which despite it being worse than Detroit around FSI, it has a really nice downtown.

the only question is why would you go to republic? Only go if you cant get hired anywhere else. they will take you even if your miss all the questions. the QOL is so bad, they cant get anyone to stay. go to express or skywest.
