The Q is a bad place to be as a new hire. No growth, no movement for a few years. Plus the training, program manager, and scheduling all suck. So... unless you want to be on the worst scheduled, future lowest paid, least growth, and poorly managed plane, I'd say go elsewhere.
Wait any place at RAH FO is bad, unless you want to explain to people, 6 years from now, why you're working under 2003 pay rates.

Maybe if you had just accepted the contract that was offered about 5 years ago the pay wouldn't be at 2003 but 2008 pay and just now the process of negotiating a new contract would begin.

Republic training and the Q.
I'm sure its on here somewhere but I cant find anything recent.
Whats training like? Well I know what trainings like. More along the lines of warnings like "dont eat at the BBQ joint on the corner!" ?
Double occupancy during training- is it a straight up hotel room or more of a suite with stove, fridge, etc?
Anybody in EWR or PIT that can chime in about lines? Reserve?
Thanks!

Double occupancy at a holiday inn in STL. Rooms have two double beds, one desk, some an additional table, some not. They also have a small frig (like 4-5 ft3). Microwave and coffee maker in study room in basement. Good discount on food and booze in hotel. Rooms at front of hotel have trouble getting hot water early in morning.
Subway across the street. One good and one bad Mexican place within walking distance. Coffee, donuts and oatmeal at flight safety on weekdays in morning.
That's all I can think of... And if hotel has changed then I haven't a clue.

Near the subway is cool. At least to can get around a little instead of being stuck in one place for a month.
Anyone with info on the lines or reserve situation in the north east? Was told prob wont sit reserve long if at all. Just trying to find out if this true or smoke and mirrors...

You can go to the airport and take the train downtown. Which despite it being worse than Detroit around FSI, it has a really nice downtown.

the only question is why would you go to republic? Only go if you cant get hired anywhere else. they will take you even if your miss all the questions. the QOL is so bad, they cant get anyone to stay. go to express or skywest.
