Clearly a forum called Airline Pilot Central, a meeting place for pilots, is not an appropriate place for asking questions. You only come here when you know all the answers!

I looked at a few random pages in the qrh. I couldn't find the correct procedure.

I thought coming on here and asking a legitimate question was putting effort into my potential career options. I did some random looking on this thread and could not see anything remotely showing where the bases were. I just happen to skip the pages that would have led me to my question. Some nice person calmly, without judgement while hiding behind a moniker, simply guided me to my query.
Wouldn't it too have been much easier for you also?

You are so incredibly lucky there IS a centralized Airline Pilot forum for finding answers. When I was looking for a job, I read EVERY post from the airlines I was interested in and most of the recent posts from the ones that I wasn't. How long could it take to read through 500 posts in the Republic forum or even using the....wait for it...search function? Most of it is mindless bickering making it even easier.

He came here, to a place that is supposed to be friendly, and helpful.
He couldn't find exactly what he was looking for so he asked a simple question. Maybe he is un-familiar with internet forums, or computers in general....maybe he just though it would be easier. We aren't talking about building the space shuttle he is asking for freakin' bases.
Why should he read 500 pages of people complaining about how bad republic is and how everywhere else is better when he can ask a question that someone could answer in one sentence.
