I just got paroled from the 36.62 club after 7 years of FO action.
I do not support a pay raise LOA that applies to any FOs that are not hired as of the last date of voting for the LOA.
In other words, if you aren't here already when we vote on the LOA, I don't support it. For anyone already here, I support as much as we can get. I think the distribution of money should be top heavy. If you've been in the 36.62 club for several years, you get more pay. If you were unfortunate to come here in the last two years you get less.
Now, the company will never accept those conditions so this isn't a ripe discussion.

Like I said, its everyone for themselves. And we went that way a long time ago. Bedford loves it. Drofdeb does not.
Bless God.

What in recent history makes you think we could possibly get something better in 3 years? I know about the "early opener" that was in the TA but you do understand that we have been in section 6 negotiations for the last 7 years don't you? The company was going to use the horrible TA to reset the clock. If it passed as a company we would still be in the same position as we are now because nobody would come to work here. You know...same problem, same results.

The reality is that Bedford thinks Capts are fairly compensated and there are a high number of lifers. He knows FO rates are well below industry average and only wants to adjust those.

Wow you are a special kind. The LOA will not move us closer to a new contract. However it will do nothing to hurt negotiations. This child as you put it, took the time to find out what it actually says. In other words im speaking from an educated position.
Also im not left thinking. Far from it. Im sure ive met you at some point along the way. It would be very interesting to compare your behavior on the line to your mb personality.

Back on topic, say what you will, but my LOA vote is NO!

Study, study, study and you'll do just fine. Go out drinking every night, study less than 3 hours a day then things may not work out so well. Who cares what the wash-out rate is; only you can control your own actions: STUDY!!!
