If I got EWR my crash pad is a nice room with a friend, much nicer than some of the pics I have seen of crash pads!

Like the 50+50 order for the United birds?
Like the 20 EMB 190 orders with options of 10 more?

Yes, understand that... just was wondering in terms of a commute if EWR was worse or better than LGA from FLL. I know there are a ton of JetBlue flights into EWR. Any issues with Republic pilots jumpseating on JetBlue? The other option for EWR is United.

As far as jumpseating, no issues with B6. They treat you really nice. I have no idea which route is better from loads perspective though.

Could anyone tell me how duty rig/trip rig work with RAH? At my interview with them, I couldn't even get a good explanation. I researched several articles via google, but still don't fully understand. Is duty rig/trip rig compensation over and above your flight hours?

And for a trip rig example, if your 4 day trip was 80 hours long from report to release and with a trip rig of 1:4, you'd get paid for 20 hours UNLESS you exceeded that in flight time. Am I on the right track?

So is pay calculated on the greatest of trip rig/duty rig/flight hours? As an example, if you reported for duty at 0500 and was done for the day at 1700, with a 1:2 duty rig, you'd get paid for 6 hours UNLESS your flight time exceeded this, in which case you'd get paid for 6. Is this correct?

Yes, essentially. It's always the greater of. Never a combination. The duty rig is 1:2. The trip rig is 1:4. So on a daily basis you are paid at a minimum of 4:12(min day guarantee, MDG). You are paid based on block or better for what you fly and deadhead, but you will never be paid less than MDG on any given day. Now you take that and compare it to the trip rig which pays you 1 hour of flight pay for each 2 hours of duty and on a daily basis you will get paid the greater of the two. You do this for each day of the trip and add them all up to compare against the trip rig. The trip rig pays you 1 hour of flight pay for every 4 hours TAFB and whichever is more the trip rig or what you calculated for each day is what you will get paid for that trip.

If hired now, what is one looking at for reserve in Ewr? Does RAH pay for any commuter hotels? Looking forward one year, can anyone give their predictions on growth?
I've got prior 121 time and am looking at commutable bases, reserve and upgrade prospects.
Thanks!
