A year is a very long term in airline world. On the other hand, Dca , even though being smaller than Other bases, it's still pretty junior.

JFK?
Anyone know what's going on with the Shuttle side 145 JFK base?
It's sort of a big deal for me if RAH plans on keeping JFK open with a 170/5 base, replacing the 145s.
I know RAH does quite a bit of AA flying too in and out of JFK.

JFK's been closed for a few months. Only 145 base is CMH and that is closing too. The last 145 flight is in Sept.

I wonder if they'd ever consider opening JFK for the 170/175!

RAH is the "debtor in possession"...Delta has just provided some financing. Nothing is happening at HQ. This is a baseless and ignorant rumor if it's being spread.
