Can anyone shed some light on whether they have been able to support themselves in Houston on first year pay and how they're doing it. Not trying to troll. My kids are grown and gone and the wife can handle the expenses of the house we own so I would just need to sustain my own needs. Has everyone there had money saved to sustain themselves or are you living in squalor? Any input from those doing it is appreciated. Thank you.

JFK will be closing (145 base). It's LGA - PHL - DCA junior to senior but if we keep adding 30- 50 people per month then reserve won't be too long (3-6 months). EWR is also a junior base. Same deal.
