Malaysian 777 missing

Just read the flight conversation transcript published by The Telegraph (Revealed: the final 54 minutes of communication from MH370 - Telegraph).
At 00:42:62 KL Airport tells MH370 it has entered KL Radar 132.6, to which the co-pilot responds with a "132.6 MH370 copies that", style consistent. Yet when asked by KL Radar to connect with Hu Chi Ming City 120.9 the co-pilot simply responds with "All right good night" - does not copy, inconsistent style with prior exchange. Indication of someone else at this seat?

Hopefully because all the guys who are qualified have integrity and can see CNN for what it is? Viewers go from one media circus to the next shaking their heads about how the media got it all wrong, but they still don't turn the TV off.

Having flown in and out of KL over the years, I NEVER heard such casual conversation between MAS crew and ATC. At best it is a very bad translation, at worst fictitious. Are we really to believe they got take-off clearance without the wind even being mentioned by ATC?

Maybe it's a thread of unprofessionalism, that may some day start the whole sweater to unravel; but when I find a controller to be particularly annoying, obviously in training, or extra pedestrian, I often revert to less than standard phraseology. Especially when it's late in the duty period and the long awaited hand off (last transmission) comes.
"Goodnight!"
Too late in my career for domestic CPDLC to save me, but even if just to eliminate frequency hand offs from the chatter, it will be better.
Does anyone else find it causes tension when one controller works multiple sectors and you can only hear about every third plane respond? It feels like all those unanswered transmissions may have been for you.
I would read nothing into the transmission transcripts from MH370 without hearing the tapes.

MH370: New Inmarsat data narrows missing airliner's flight path.
Inmarsat today has said the ping timings increased in time. Seems to me like they have been the only ones providing reliable data all along.
According to them, in order for the pings to have increased in time it could only have gone north (passing through countries radar) or south through Indonesia (passing through a countries radar).
They say it is not possible for them to have traveled over the open ocean and then turned south like has been thought up until now.

It's human nature to want there to be "more" than is apparent. We want things to emotionally make sense, for there to be "closure", to have all the puzzle pieces fit perfectly into what we think is the right story. We want this so bad that we'll watch and belief all kinds of crazy things. Natural defense mechanisms lead to this, and to a point, they can be healthy, as they help someone perform under stress. When we can no longer function productively they are a hindrance.

Got to love the media. All the speculations, all the so called experts they bring on live tv. There was some dude yesterday on CNN that claimed the FO sounded suspiciously with the way he spoke with air traffic controllers. I mean seriously???
