New uniforms won't make our F/As any prettier...

But if I could pick..

Hey now, the comair test showed I had an IQ of 45. I know my attention span is not much longer then 30 seconds but it has to be after flying with some of you guys.

I guess my sarcastic sense of humor is a little too weird sometimes though.

I heard a rumor that Comair mgmt and the "Union" have kissed and made up. Has anyone else heard this?

Everyone take notice of what just one caring employee can do for the company - by selecting a more sensible uniform, CRJDriver has solved our APU issue. These flight attendants are smiling because they're never too hot at the gate in the summertime. Happy FAs mean happy customers. Besides, our passengers will be too distracted (good or bad) to notice a little thing like 100 degree cabins.

CRJDriver has also considered the TSA aspect - these uniforms will speed up the screening process and probably allow male crewmembers to wander right past the TSA agents.

Note also the matching shoes - something sorely missing with today's Comair FA dress code.

As far as roadkill, the "drag to the right during taxi" was a shot at whoever taxied the winglet into a fencepost in JFK last week.

Here's a pay question that I can't seem to find a definitive answer for in the contract.

Reserve pilot does EF. 1 flight cancels. Is the reserve pilot pay protected for the displacement?

The contract says a reserve pilot gets displacement protection after breaking guarantee. But, a reserve pilot doing EF is treated as a line holder and not a reserve.

I would say pay protected, I Remember when I was on reserve, I picked up open time got the pay even though I did not meet guarentee, So I was treated like a line holder. It went on top of the 75. I could be wrong.

No, I realize that EF goes on top of guarantee. There'd be no reason to do it if it didn't. I'm asking if you get displacement pay protecting when flying EF, even if I'm not breaking guarantee.

dont know what to tell ya, maybe the union will work on this after Meastro, Long Call, Scheduling, but dont be concerned it will be way before they talk to the company about furloughs.
