Quote: Anyone use the Roster Importer app or similar to connect to the scheduling application?

I prefer iOS I can run something on Android. I have a Google FI phone for international use.

Roster Importer has an export function to LogTen. My current logbook program. I use the old subscription free version. That’s why I might be interested in that app.

Thanks
Check your PM....

Not sure about Logten, but you can definitely import to LogbookPro and APDL.

767 vs 777
Any thoughts on 767 flying vs 777?

Schedules, destinations, flying hours per month, etc?

Sounds like aircraft assignments are seniority based, on age, depending on what’s available for that class?

Thanks

Take the time to read through all of the posts here. Or at least 6 months back or so. Your questions have been answered there.

Availability of aircraft choice will vary on need. 777 was not an option for recent new hires. No near future 777 classes but that could change. It’s aviation and always does.

The old airline saying at any airline has always been to go for the larger fleet type for more variety. That seems to hold true here also but isn’t as large a difference as at some Legacies. Ask this at indoc so they can tell you the cities where the two types spend a lot of time. If your near one of the cities it could (should) impact your choice.

There are some special programs that are 767 only. One of them has a higher 80 hour guarantee, and they often fly above. The other is flying scheduled air service between LAS and HNL. That is all those crews do, and they get about 30-48 hours a month with 64 guarantee.

We don’t really talk about our other regular destinations. You’ll go to everywhere except Antarctica.

Hours per month. Anywhere from zero to 85 depending on program you’re in. They say the average guy does 25-48 a month. I have 7 hours for this month. I did 36 last month. It will be 16 days on the road with 2 over ride days at home. I’ve never been used on the over ride days since the new contract last April. If they use them it goes above your guarantee.

If you dig through the last six months or so, most of those questions were already answered.

Yes, the mall cops are strong at this airline.

Whomever they are, I agree with them.

If that were true, they wouldn’t be asking.....

It’s that worry free attitude some seem to still have that was exploited on 9-11. Never again.

I'm all for not broadcasting the "special" places but for cripes sake ALL of us in the ACMI/Charter world go to or have gone to the same places. I see your planes and you see mine. Omni seems to think they are the only ones who fly to Trashcanistan in the middle of the night with those who don't want to be seen or haul that which cannot spoken of. Answering some broad questions about flights that are done is not loose lips sinking ships. If you want people to apply there you have to give them a little info or they will just go elsewhere. Saying you fly to military bases or certain large geographic regions isn't breaking OPSEC. This isn't 2008. Pilots have options.

Unfortunately that's the way mall cops operate. Paul Blart saves the world.
