This is absolutely ridiculous and can't be explained away by weather or maintenance. This is the threat to profits that I was talking about. 93 x $50000 (I think I heard that figure somewhere of how much a cancelled flight costs the company) is 4.3 million. In one day! This is the way to go boys, this is how we get management to the table since I see NO way we are ever goin to be released to strike. Lower tiered pilots indeed, bless my heart.

39 is still too many! Especially since it has to be crew related and not maintenance or weather. Still, that's 2 million lost in one day. 2 million dollars! How much is a new pilot contract going to cost this company anyways? It's got to be less than 2 million more a day.
