I can still come and ask here. You know, a forum dedicated for pilots to exchange info and discussions.
Appreciate your “kind and professional” input though.

Nice attitude. Good luck with that in training.

Gets a little old seeing new hires ask the same question of the pilot group over and over when the company publishes its jr domicile info for you in a quick to find/always current format. Do a little research.

There is a direct correlation between this attitude and training issues/failures.
This isn’t really a surprise.

Don’t put in the work and then blame everyone(anyone) else when they fail.

This attitude needs to be fixed before anyone shows up to training.

I answered in the same exact way he answered my questions. I didn’t mean to disrespect or show an attitude towards anyone. As I mentioned in my previous comments i truly appreciate the inputs and the help some folks give to the new hires here on APC. But If you didn’t like my questions then you could’ve simply refrained from answering them without coming at me the way he did.

Side note since you mentioned training; i’ve never failed a training event in my 121 or early stage training, have never given anyone of my colleagues any type of an attitude through out my entire career and i’m not willing to do that in any shape or form in the future. Have a good day.

If you stay regional FO.... Sure. But not all of us can recommend that. I can’t. That’s why I still recommend talking with someone with whom you can reveal your goals (and esp desired income) to chart forward.

More then a few leave 121 for the flexibility you may seek.
you’d be surprised how quickly you move off the bottom at a major these days. Most new hires at DL or UA for example get off reserve within a few months and move up relatively quickly on the NB aircraft. Even 777 these days at UA is less than 6 months reserve due to movement. Upgrade is a different story and you could be on reserve for up to a year on NB. Must different than 10 years ago.

Ya but the Offshore SID goes at least 5 miles out to sea, so you can pretend you're flying a Triple to HKG...

I think someone said elsewhere that hotels in training are now single occupancy. Can anyone confirm?

Nope - reserve on the 777 is a few years deep.
