What are the options: pathetic, really pathetic, and over the top pathetic?

To those who are interviewing soon; SkyWest has taken on a new hiring practice of hiring ANYONE who is qualified. They will interview and even if the interview team rejects you, the chief pilot will override it and you'll be in class. They are letting training weed people out. SkyWest needs people that bad.

On that note, they will teach you the specifics of the CRJ's systems, not the theory behind them (they'll tell you the number of stages in the compressor spool, not what a compressor is).

Before you go to class you should know:
How a turbine engine works
What bleed air is
What an air cycle machine is
The difference between A/C and D/C power

Not in depth, but at least understand their respective wikipedia articles.

What you will see is a pay package that dramatically increases F/O pay for years 1-4, decreases Captain pay to a 12 year cap, add a EFB scheduling notification. Expect major policy rewrite that will make the Ready Reserve rewrite look minor. They will expect the current new hires to get major chubbies and vote without thinking logically. And it will all pimped heavily by J.P. And R.J. Both who are looking for management positions and will likely be thrown a bone, you will hear more from the shills at SAPA since the last pay package. Expect these 2 in a domicile near you passing out bag tags, raves and hearty pats on the back. Expect a panicky need to get this pay/policy package agreed upon so they can staff the summer rush with EFB reflows. My bet it will pass by a hearty 52/48% with 60% participation on the vote, since SAPA/Skywest management is controlling the vote, the results are a forgone conclusion.
The changing of the SAPA forums to the new user unfriendly forums was well timed, it is software from the 90s and is the worst forum I have ever been on.
Well played SAPA/Skywest management!

Default Isn't that scary

I heard skywest has one of the best training and their pass rate is high.

For those with no 121 experience won't the training be hard. How is the training at skywest.
If you try hard and not give up will they work with you.

Why? They've already had several and are the best paid FO's amongst any of the big jet regionals. All that at then expense of CA's who already paid their dues as FO's before the raises.
