Go in there and be yourself (unless you're an arrogant prick). They hire you as a person first. They want to make sure they can sit next to you for a few days without any issues. And as stated previously, read the gouges on aviationinterviews.com. They are absoultely 100% accurate. As long as you have the basic concepts and understandings of the things they want to know, you will have no problem getting hired. Best of luck to you!

And it will more than double any of the increase from the pay package.
SkyWest insurance is administered by Intermountain, but in reality we are self insured, they're getting their money back one way or another.
A very well hidden line item from the year end SEC repoprt showed that SkyWest made millions from there self insured program.
If you can find insurance from any other source, you will be much better off.
If you are single, self insuring is almost always a better option.

Hey guys, on Pprune (yeah I know) there are a bunch of Australian guys saying that they have talked to Skywest recruitment saying that Skywest is willing to sponsor E3 visas for Australian pilots.
E-3 Certain Specialty Occupation Professionals from Australia | USCIS
Is this happening? I haven't seen any Australian pilots yet.

Our insurance should be better, but you should ask around to see just what others companies pay.

Not to derail the banter, SKW is doing interviews here in town tomorrow and was thinking of attending. The problem is, my 1st class dropped to a 2nd. the end of last month and because I just found about them coming here 2 days ago and can't get in to renew to a 1st., am I wasting my time and theirs by showing up only to be turned away? Have all the other prerequisites and have actually been hitting the books and sim since getting word about this. Thanks..

Thanks Joe, Mine expired because I had no reason to maintain a 1st. until 2 days ago. Does anyone in recruiting watch this page that may be able to add to this? Not sure how I would be able to obtain a 1st class during the interview but I guess anything is possible. Thanks..
