California isn't broke. It's running a budget surplus.

Get your facts right.
Respectfully you need to look at the entire picture. See 7AC2B60s posting. Also look up the definition of the word "practically" or should I have said almost or nearly. If things change, which change is constant, they won't have far to fall. They've done a horrible job managing their states finances and raping their residents with extreme taxation. Hell they've even had cities file BK. For a long time they were bleeding which is sad for how large their economy is.

How long are people waiting to find out they got the job after they interview?
I'd say a couple weeks on average. Unless they need to fill the next class then they'll call rather quickly.

If a new hire is awarded the CRJ - are they placed specifically into the -200/-700/-900 or is it CRJ and pay is based upon what hours you flew in which series?

We fly all 3. The 700 and 900 pay 200 rate with a block hour override. When you're junior you'll fly mostly the 200.

And a couple bases you'll only fly the 200 no matter how senior you are!
