It is important to point out that, as a first-year pilot, you will not be eligible for BHO, it is straight first-year pay no matter what variant you fly. Also, after your first year BHO does count towards your guarantee if you are on reserve, but if you don't break the 75 hours of credit, you will not be paid BHO, either.
So basically, other than being able to feel extra cool about flying "the big planes", it won't mean squat to you whether you fly the 200, 700, or 900 until you're off probation. ;-)

This might be a stupid question but do you need to bring your logbook book to training I didn"t see it on any of the what to bring docs.

You also need a headset for sim and it's useful for your observation flights which you do in ground training. That's something they don't tell you in advance for some reason.

As usual, it depends. Most classes are split into two groups for sim, and one group will start right after ground, while the other may have 3-5-? days off. No way to tell which group you will be in until shortly before sim.
