I'm not sure where some of the people on APC come from but I haven't flown with a single person who is outwardly like that in person.
Yep, me either guys. The vast majority of our crews are great, and many of the captains I've flown with have become friends.

Question, just hit ATP mins and Skywest is high on the list. I have read that msp and ord are most likely the two bases new hires go too and I have a few questions. One, how awful is it to commute from sea? Secondly, if you all were in my position or even looking back would you still choose Skywest? Thank you

I'd steer clear of Skywest if you plan to commute. SEA is senior so you'd be commuting for sometime. I'd try Compass, Mesa or PSA first. Then Skywest and last Horizon.

When I was at QX I would commute many times from SEA to ORD it was awful that was my main reason for leaving QX for SKW. If you absolutely can't move from SEA I'd look into Horizon first for the home basing or Compass for the LAX base.

Can anyone shed some light on the EP's and Limitations... Is the test taken on Day 1 or Day 1 of that section of GS? Thanks

I'd focus your efforts on getting hired at Horizon. That commute would have you hating life real quick.

Have you given consideration to moving?

You could probably be based out west at SkyWest in a year or so, maybe less. Getting based out of SEA or PDX will take years though.

Unless it's changed, I remember it to be kinda fun. Getting it knocked out in CRQ took some talent as to not hold up the Dept.

BTW - Is it REALLY 7 years to the Junior Capt right now?

Just askin' - Baja.

Probably less than 7 now. A lot of movement lately.
