oh, they didn't have to extend you because last leg was a DH and thus not FDP? oh, maybe you just worked a 19 hour LEGAL day. well, no duty rig for you, it was only planned for 10 hours.

(yes a 19 hour day can be 100% legal and I have PERSONALLY seen it happen to my roommate just 2 weeks ago)

That's it. It's people's lives and families thet they're callously messing with. Young single childless folks may enjoy bending over and grabbing their buns for the company but when you have kids involved it's all different. Limber up, make sure you can comfortably grab your ankles, junior guys will get it the worst. "Forced reserve" will be the least of your problems.....

I've been here about four years, and believe me it isn't perfect. But it's been A LOT better than I thought it would be, having been in your shoes and seen the forum whining before coming here.
